President Trump Invites Loved Ones of Attacked National Guard Soldiers to the Presidential Residence

President Donald Trump revealed on the weekend that he has asked the family of a Guard member tragically killed last week to attend the presidential home.

He noted that he contacted her parents and they were “devastated”.

Information on the Tragic Shooting

Soldier Beckstrom, twenty years old, was lost her life in a violent incident on last Wednesday in DC.

Her colleague, Andrew Wolfe, 24, continues receiving treatment in grave state.

Vigils across West Virginia have been held in their remembrance.

White House Offer

The commander-in-chief said he’s proposed a White House visit for the families of both soldiers of the West Virginia Guard.

“I told them: ‘When you’re able, because that’s a difficult moment, visit the White House. We’re going to honor her,” Trump told the press. “And similarly with Andrew, recover or not.”

Community Response

Attendees assembled over the weekend at the high school in West Virginia to remember Sarah.

Both they had been working with the military unit as part of Trump’s government program to support public safety in the capital.

Remembering the Soldier

“She was the type of pupil that instructors hoped for. She conducted herself with inner fortitude, a bright grin and a upbeat demeanor that inspired people around her,” Hankins, the head of Beckstrom’s previous school, stated to the press. “She was sweet, caring and always willing to assist people.”

Funeral plans for Beckstrom are yet to be finalized.

Judicial Measures and Government Changes

Officials have accused a twenty-nine-year-old individual from Afghanistan with a charge of homicide and two counts of assault with intent to kill while armed.

The event prompted the administration to suspend asylum applications and temporarily stop issuing entry permits to holders of travel documents.

Status of the Airman

Andrew Wolfe, a native of Martinsburg, began his service in early 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman high school, as reported by the news agency.

He is still undergoing care and is “in a critical fight”, the state’s leader the governor said on Fox News Channel’s The Sunday Briefing.

The state’s top lawyer the attorney general told Fox News Sunday that she planned to speak to his relatives.

Memory of the Fallen Soldier

Sarah, from Summersville, completed her education from her high school in June 2023 and enlisted soon after, serving as a law enforcement officer with distinction, as stated by the state guard.

“She had a lot of kindness and she certainly had bravery,” he informed the crowd at the service. “Though her life was cut short, she has created a legacy that’s going to be remembered always.”
